Quinton Time

We spent last weekend out on the coast for the Quinton family reunion, and it was a lot of fun to spend time together and catch up with extended family. We walked on the beach, drove down to Tillamook to the cheese factory and to the air museum (which was a new one for us), played a little mini-golf, and ate some good seafood. The trip was short and sweet!

Don't you just love the feel of sand on your feet?!

Scott as pilot... he's so dreamy!

Showing off the baby bump...

With soon-to-be Uncle Brady.

We figured this would be a perfect family vehicle... Scott drives,
Trisha's on the seat behind, and our son would be strapped in to
the side car...

We all decided that early helicopters are scary...

Scott put together a model of this airplane the day before.
We later saw the actual planes that dad and Brady were
putting together as well.

This plane just lands in the water on its boat shaped belly, pretty interesting.

The structure of the blimp hanger was amazing too. Dad
mentioned that planes would fly through it back in the
day... so cool.

Scott killing it on the golf course. This was a little different than your average
mini-golf course as there weren't any bumpers like you normally see. It mimicked
real golf holes which was a lot of fun but also more challenging.

  1. That blimp hangar is nearly as cool as the planes. Impressive.

The mini golf looks way more fun than a regular place with concrete and bumpers.

Looks like a really fun outing.

  2. Looks like a fun family gathering. I love the idea of a mini golf course that is really a mini golf course. People that flew in the old days were brave! I don't know that I would have gotten in anything there to fly anywhere. :)
